I really like their system. It's a tad expensive though, and I don't really want to put sticky stuff on the back of pedals. If they had the clamp system, I probably would have spent the extra money for one of those. That clampy system is the only one I've seen that doesn't involve anything on the bottom of the pedal. Even zip ties depend in rubber feet to make a good contact and avoid scratching.
I have two boards with different systems so can maybe give some useful thoughts. Neither has been really heavily road-tested yet, but I'd trust either.
I have a Temple Audio board with most pedals using the sticky-back quick-connect plates. Removing/replacing these is a ten-minute job, so not a big deal as a "project" but annoying on-the-fly. With the plate on, changing a pedal takes seconds, which is great. The trouble is that you don't want the metal plate scratching the floor, or a different pedalboard system. For pedals that don't live on this board it can be less trouble to cable-tie. (For Boss-style pedals this gives a very neat and secure effect, too!)
