I like your perspective about time spent...I've been thinking a bit lately about how I spend my time. We have a limited amount of time on this planet, and I've been contemplating why I spend time arguing about completely irrelevant things like OS choice, or synth choice etc. with random people I'll never meet in real life on the internet. It gives you perspective to sometimes step out of the conversation and ask, what exactly is gained here? I'm aware I like debating with people, but I have to start actually using the time I have in more productive ways.
A long way of saying I don't give much of a shit about your opinion on this topic, you're horribly biased and it just drags on for years really. I'll chat with you about plugins, I find that can be productive, but your opinion about computers is just not interesting at all to me, your'e a zealot on this topic and it's not compelling, you just add conflict and time waste.
The reason why I am often on KVR is because I am trying (and succeeding) to spend more and more time making music. And when I am making music I am taking a lot of "micro breaks", mostly to protect my ears also. During this kind of breaks, I love going to KVR to talk about music production (and not argue about silly stuffs like OS preferences).
I also agree on your vision about the gentleman
