It might be easiest if you try the free trial of EZ Drummer, which is the stripped down version of Superior. If you're satisfied with the dynamics there then Superior will have you covered.To my ears, SD3 doesn’t seem to have a lot of layers, but maybe the demos just don’t do a lot of dynamics.
