...and I'm sure Curve 3 will ba scalable. There are only a few developers releasing new plugins without this in mind. Some are mistaking resizing for scaling though (as in the interface is resiable, but the text and graphics are still the same size). And then we have developers like Serato, who released v2 of Serato Sample without the possibility either resize or scale. And when pointing this out they got almost mad and told me I could use the OS's scaling option (as if this would affect only their specific plugin).

yeah that's a really lousy way to treat a customer. It's not like serato is cheap either. I considered buying it at one point, but stories like that would surely put me off. I'd rather pay a developer that appreciates their business is dependent on their customers.
I know what you mean about some vsts having a resizable perimeter, and yet all the text stays the same size. It's a pointless exercise. A certain synth named after a bird of prey, and starting with F, does this. Not cheap, and one of the most capable synths out there, but so much wasted space that could be filled with larger text.
Then there are those who put a drag handle in the bottom right hand corner.......the corner you can't actually drag if the UI appears too big, and you have to go into the OS settings. Microsoft compounded this in Windows 11 by taking away the ability to move the taskbar to a left or right vertical position, but that's a whole 'nother rabbithole.....
