AI art might be the equivalent of a child's fridge doodles right now ( I mean...as a fraction of the potential it COULD do ), but if Moore's law continues to be true, and computer technology continues to double in power every 18 months, what will AI be capable off once it's no longer making "kids fridge doodles" ? Also, what about the singularity ?
Right now, people are falling over themselves to stake their claim in the big AI Goldrush, and no-one is thinking about the consequences and repercussions of it all. It's a bit like making the fastest car ever but making it without any brakes.
