Yeah, the answer to FAQ#1 seems to point to your interpretation, but the answer to FAQ#2 seems to contradict it. Unless, as I said, they are going to release maintenance updates for each feature update of the current version.I think not because as I understood, "y.y" means you have updates for v7.4 till v7.5 (not included). Otherwise you have the right to upgrade till the next major release (which is not the case here). So if your one-year quasi-subscription ends when you’re on v7.4.3, and then PreSonus releases Studio One Pro 7.5 followed by 7.5.1, do you get these?
“Users with perpetual licenses past their one year of included feature releases will receive all maintenance releases (x.x.X) until the next feature version (y.y) […] This is the equivalent of a Studio One 6 user who doesn’t have a Studio One Pro 7 license. They would get 6.6.3 and 6.6.4, but not 7.0.0, 7.0.1 or 7.0.2.”
That seems to imply ‘yes’, since x.x.X would be version 7.x and y.y would be version 8.0
