Nexus had always top notch presets and being able to look under the hood and to have options to actually modify them, change the samples, modulations etc. is by itself worth the price.
It has also probably the best sounding effects section of all my vstis.
However to market this as a limitless synth is a bit of an overstatement, comparing it to other synths on the market (mainly because of the modulation limitations). I hope that there would be some further development in this matter - mainly in terms of layer modulators - if they could modulate any layer generator parameter (hopefully with drag and drop), it would make the machine pretty much complete.
