I'm sure you know, but this type of layering is very doable in a host or sub host.. I often use maschine as a plugin to layer microtonic with itself and other things. It also makes it very easy to audition a variety of sounds by modifying what's in "focus I maschine.I often use microtonic by layering the differnt channels and resampling them
It's a bit sad we can't assign all layers to the same key/midi channel
I wish Magnus would make each channel in microtonic able to use or ignore midi notes. I love using it for a big 808 style kick that follows notes but I've found many of the other sounds don't scale very well.
