I love this new audio interface, it has corrected some annoyance I was having when plugging/unplugging devices. The multi-Audio interface is freaking HUGE. I see many uses for this in my setup. Just isn't running to clever for me at the min. Looking forward to Beta2 already.Yes and No.Really boring though an 808 and 909 emulation ? like you said you can buy great emulations if you need them anyway.. physical modelling, new granular modes, updated sampler, drum sampler, deep sound design reverbs - it is all too generic now what they release - they don't know how to generate new sales and have lost their way - not enough mad sound scientists out there to keep them going it seems..
\What they did to the audio engine is pretty big. Not if you are just using a laptop and nothing else. But when you have a large studio with multiple interfaces it's a pretty big thing.
At least for Windows users.
The same for ARM support. Not many will benefit from this now, but under the hood this is an update with a hell of a lot of work in it. Windows ARM is released with midi 2 support and plug and play usb low latency asio, so it could get very interesting soon. The whole MSIX drama probably was a preparation for ARM.
If you look back and see what structural stuff they took on this year it's quite a lot. when all that is finished we can see if they lost their mojo, or where just busy with the plumbing stuff.
