And to all the folks "supporting" bitwig .. no they didn't ask for or need your "support", they created a product and advertised it as such, you saw something you liked in it and bought it. They didn't put a gun to your head over your decision to "support" them and are not the cosa nostra.
And no, it's not a subscription. You get to keep what you own, I've been doing that for several years now, ever since the days of bitwig 2, updating approx every two years. If you always have to be on the latest version and then complain and pretend that it's a subscription that's on you.
As for the sound content this is really nothing like last year's fiasco, which would've resulted in a fragmented product. Bigger companies like NI and Ableton do it (even U-he does it), so I really don't see the problem with Bitwig doing it.
For some reason the sense of entitlement and demands from Bitwig users seems a bit disproportionate. Like they've done a personal favour to the bitwig team or something, by deciding to "support" them ..![:roll:]( "Rolling Eyes")
