I built a folding eurorack case like this years ago but it was just too heavy and it didn't close all the way when patched. I didn't even bother finishing it.
These cases are surprisingly light. Maybe not a big concern if you don't need to haul your synths around.![:hihi:]( "HiHi")
I've always liked the look of the CalArts style cases and the Buchla folding cases. I think the first time I saw a 200e system was around 2007/2008 and was completely enamored.
