After reading all posts here I sill can’t wrap my head around about the reason of introducing yet another format of virtual instruments…
As I see it, we already have too many - VST, Au and ProTools…
BTW; Steinberg supports Au on Cubasis (iPad) but refuses to implement it in Cubase desktop… Wtf?
Logic doesn’t even know what VST is…
Ableton Live, ProTools, Reason and others are “sitting on the fence” for past 2 years and it doesn’t look that they will introduce CLAP support anytime soon.
What a virtual instrument mess it has become…
And please, everyone, ignore him. Do not engage. He has tried this crap repeatedly. If he wants to discuss the merits of the CLAP format, there are plenty of topics where he may do so.
