Absolutely. It's handy because Dolby (which this is not) is a strongly held trademark that means all sorts of things beyond what existed in the late 60s and 70s. Thanks to Spinal Tap, I can call that CLASS of effect 'Dubly' and it's clear what I mean but also clear I'm not 'cloning' another company's thing.I wasn't aware of version 1, so sorry if this has already been covered, but if the name of this plugin is a Spinal Tap reference, then thank you sir (Eton-Hogg)!

Which I'm not, it's very much the Airwindows thing of 'come up with a refined digital essence of the thing that uses minimal processing to get you there' and retain more of the sound through the processing, and that's what's going into ToTape7.
