Somehow I ask myself the same... why must everything always be so complicated and extreme??Ha ha ha they really delete all old versions without asking? Melda Installer for instance has this "ask before delete" feature since ages.
Why are they so desperate about controlling what's on our systems.
How about Pro Users that haven't taken part in beta and want to keep 5.1.9 to be able to check out whether 5.2 works for them?
What if 5.2 crashes on a Pros system and she/he is losing money?
Are the Bitwiger completely out of their freaking mind!? I think parts of this company chose the dark side.
At least a warning would have been fine... but no... silently things get changed with quite a heavy impact for the user...
That´s exactly what I mean when I say I have never seen before a company torpedoing itself with such a desire and intense...
Maybe with good intention... maybe with bad... but the ways they choose are not easy to understand and to accept.
