Alex's bar is definitely one of the places to play in Long Beach. Was the other video of The Melvins? We were at that show. Most of the places with more history (Koos, Zed Records, Lava Lounge) are gone now. I've always thought of it as a mostly rockabilly place but they do have some decent punk rock shows.
